Do you deliver to the Engineering and Manufacturing sector?

If you deliver in this space in Essex, please complete this spreadsheet with details of your organisation’s current offer and return it to: manufacturingalliance@essex.gov.uk
Deadline: Monday 6th July

Skills Bootcamps commence this month!
ECC have announced that Wave 7 of the Skills Bootcamps for Essex programme will commence this month. A selection of courses are now live on the Essex Opportunities Portal: Skills Bootcamps in Essex.

At this stage, ECC have published Further Education (FE) provision only. Independent Training Providers (ITPs) will be added over the coming weeks as they complete tender processes and issue additional provider contracts.

Their Wave 7 DWP Grant requires a minimum of 404 starts. Of these, at least 80% must successfully complete their training, and of those completers, at least 75% must achieve a positive outcome, such as employment or career progression. 30% of the delivery must be in Construction.

Please share the website with your wider networks.

Job Guarantee Employer Flyer
DWP are seeking our help to please share this Job Guarantee Flyer across your employer networks.

I wonder perhaps when you are next sharing info with employers of your own work based provision you could include this, highlighting the work based training progression opportunities also with funding and incentives available for those recruits once the 6-month Job Guarantee is over, should they wish to keep them on and continue developing them?
